This festival happens October 26-November 6, 2016. The event is created by 27 Washington-based European Union embassies and more than a dozen major local cultural institutions. You and your family will find more than 200 free performances around the city. What a perfect way to spend a Saturday or Sunday.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge 10K

On November 6, 2016, head out to Annapolis for the inaugural race across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Even if you aren't a runner, this weekend includes lots of family friendly activities. 

Alexandria Film Festival

For this festival you'll find a variety of films screened in and around the City of Alexandria, Virginia. Catch the films on November 10-13, 2016. 

Veterans Day

Honor American veterans at this event on November 11, 2016.  You can also attend a wreath-laying ceremony at one of the monuments in Washington, DC.  Manassas Veterans Day Parade. Catch this fun community parade on November 12 at 11 a.m.
